NYC Mission Trip

What if we lived and preached an unfiltered gospel? What if we boldly and courageously loved others and shared the love of Christ? That is what we plan to find out on our mission trip to New York City.

We will be partnering with Pastor Bill Jones of New York City Gospel Ministries and Manor Community Church in Manhattan, NY. Under his guidance we will help lead church services, serve in a food pantry, do open-air music, do street evangelism, lead prayer meetings, and more.

IMPORTANT INFO
A. Eligibility. Must have completed the 8th - 12th grade this year to be eligible to attend.
B. Funds. In addition to regular Summit Scholarships, we will have one fundraiser to help offset the $630 cost of the trip. 
C. Training. We will be holding 5 Departure Meetings on Sunday's after youth group to prepare for the trip. These meetings are required for all participants as we will be preparing ministries, building team unity, studying God's Word, and practicing evangelism strategies.   The dates are 2/22, 3/22, 4/19, 5/3, &  6/14.
D. Transportation. We will be driving to New York in 15-passenger vans. Once in the city, we will be walking and taking the subway to get around.
